As a contemporary abstract painter, my artistic process embraces transformation, pushing the boundaries of materials, textures, and the dynamic interaction of color and form. I work primarily with Winsor & Newton oil paints, using brushes and palette knives to craft dynamic layers and expressive gestures.
My approach weaves together control and spontaneity, guided by an inner energy that shapes the evolution of each piece. Rather than following a fixed plan, I let the process flow naturally, led by intuition and the connection I feel with the medium.
Beyond traditional oil paints, I occasionally incorporate unconventional materials such as sawdust, dry pigments, mica mortar, inks, and texture paste. These daring combinations infuse my work with depth and tactile richness, creating a multi-sensory experience that captivates viewers. My intricate surfaces occasionally blur the line between painting and sculpture, inviting audiences to not just see but feel the layered complexity of my creations.
